Why She Burned Her 9K Followers to Build Something Bigger (SHOCKING RESULTS) - Tamara Gibson (Ep. 30)

Today on The Fairy BOSSmother Show, I met with Tamara Gibson, founder of Native Caribbean and a scent-maker from Barbados who came to me with one goal: more money.

But what Tamara didn’t realize was that her obsession with revenue was blocking her own power. She wasn’t building a brand, she was just chasing numbers. It took some serious digging to uncover the truth: This wasn’t about money. This was about putting Barbados on the global map.

That’s when everything changed.

Tamara stopped hustling for validation and started building legacy. Now she’s being invited by governments, commanding attention, and she’s just getting started.

Do you think I helped Tamara step into her true power?

Let’s meet Tamara Gibson.

Before the Fairy BOSSmother

When Tamara first came to me, her energy was electric, but that energy was wired into the wrong goal. She kept repeating: “I want to be a seven-figure brand. Then eight.”

Everything was about the money. There was no brand story. No clear message. Just a successful candle business running on fumes and ambition. But something didn’t add up and I could feel it. So I kept pushing, and then she cracked open.

She admitted that she was sick of how people viewed the Caribbean who thought of the region as poor, irrelevant, small. She was done with the stereotypes and wanted to represent Barbados globally. And she wanted to use scent as her language of power.

That was the real mission.

During the show

Tamara came back to The Fairy BOSSmother Show as a returning client. After a year of working on her personal brand based on the strategies we built with Boss Diplomat, the results were shocking. Once we uncovered her truth in wanting to put Barbados on the global map, Tamara unlocked her real personal power. As a result, she burned down her old brand to the ground. This included archiving her old website and letting go of the 9,000 followers who didn’t get it, pressing delete on even her most popular 15K reels. And she rebuilt everything from scratch with the story of her scents first.

She anchored her personal brand in national pride, and turned her products into cultural artefacts. The results were huge because she was able to turn her candles and scents into a language that spoke as a symbol for her people.

Suddenly, Tamara wasn’t just a candle maker. She was the scent ambassador of Barbados, and she stepped in the role of main character.

And the results? Her engagement skyrocketed (we’re talking 200K views on her reels), her content went viral multiple times, she was invited to elite government events, and is positioned for global attention.

After the show

Tamara is no longer chasing money. Instead, she’s attracting movements, preparing for international stages, and already representing the Caribbean with power and poise in less than a year. And the best part is that she’s doing it all with a voice that people now listen to… her own!

From 9K followers to nearly 14K and counting, all organically. From hustling in the dark to becoming the face of her nation’s scent culture, Tamara is a woman transformed, and this is just the beginning.
