She knows Krav Maga but you’d never know from her brand - Stephanie Chabot (Ep. 29)

Today on The Fairy BOSSmother Show, I sat down with returning guest Stephanie Chabot, a sharp-witted copywriter who’s worked with dozens of small businesses across the country.

When I first built her personal brand, I gave her a tagline that stuck: Chabot, not ChatBot. It helped people finally remember her name. But a name isn’t enough.

Stephanie says she’s evolving, letting go of old services, gaining confidence, leaning into her expertise. But here’s what I noticed: she’s still filtering herself. She still hasn’t made space for her full identity.

This is a woman who trains in MMA and Krav Maga, who’s got the mindset of a fighter, but her brand is still playing it safe.

My question is: Can I help her stop blending in… and finally lead with her power?

Let’s meet Stephanie Chabot.

Before the Fairy BOSSmother

Stephanie Chabot isn’t new to the Fairy BOSSmother as she joins as a former client. But the version of her you’re about to meet might be.

When we first built her personal brand, I gave her a punchy tagline that finally helped people say her name right: Chabot, not ChatBot. It stuck. Her confidence grew. Clients remembered her. But since then, her business has evolved… and her brand hasn’t quite kept up.

This episode is about what happens when your brand starts to shrink in comparison to your growth.

During the show

Over a year ago, Stephanie was like a lot of service providers: talented, thoughtful, and tucked behind the scenes. She delivered sharp copy, ran a business full of referrals, and built steady momentum. But the issue was never her work, it was her visibility.

I focused on giving her a memorable identity, creating a brand that felt personal and polished without being generic. She started leaning in. People took notice.

But fast forward to today, and it’s clear that Stephanie is outgrowing the old version of her business. She’s cycling out blog packages. She’s tired of hiding. She’s ready for the next level.

But her brand still sounds like she’s whispering because she hasn’t fully leaned into her own identity, despite the blueprint giving her permission to go full force.

After the show

The moment Stephanie walked in, I could tell something was different. She was more grounded. Clearer. Stronger. But when we started talking about how her personal brand fits into that evolution… the energy shifted.

She was STILL holding back, trying to be full professional without the personlity. All business!

This is a woman who practices MMA and Krav Maga, who’s confident enough to critique her own industry, who’s not afraid to say that most copywriters all look the same. But she still wasn’t using that side of her identity in her own brand presence.

When I asked why, she admitted she didn’t see how it was relevant.

That was the moment everything clicked.

The reason Stephanie doesn’t stand out isn’t because she’s not different, it’s because she hasn’t allowed those differences to be seen.
