PR Agency Owner Expanding Identity Beyond the Agency - Steve Seidel (Ep. 53)

What happens when a successful agency owner realizes that people only see the professional version of him?

Today on The Fairy BOSSmother Show, I met with Steve Seidel, a successful agency owner who began his career as an actor.

Steve has built a strong reputation and a thriving business over the years. But the version of Steve most people encounter is the polished professional, and somewhere along the way the person behind that reputation has remained mostly out of view.

Can I help Steve step outside the box that success sometimes builds around us and allow people to see the fuller identity behind this entrepreneur?

Let’s meet Steve Seidel.

If you want me to review your personal brand (deeper, in private, and without the cameras), you can book a Persona Brand Audit here.

Before the Fairy BOSSmother

Steve was already highly respected for what he does. His agency is successful, his clients trust him, and the reputation he has built over the years speaks for itself. But strong professional reputations can sometimes have an unexpected side effect. When someone becomes known primarily for their work, the person behind that work slowly fades from view.

In Steve’s case, the public version of him had become almost entirely professional. People knew the agency owner. They knew the results he delivered. What they didn’t necessarily see was the broader story that shaped him: the actor he once was, the family influences that shaped his character, and the deeper impact he hopes to have over time.

Nothing about his success was missing. If anything, the identity behind it simply hadn’t been fully revealed.

During the show

As our conversation unfolded, I began exploring the different versions of Steve that have existed throughout his life.

There was Stephen, the actor who once stepped onto stages and told stories. There was Stevie, the version of him that exists within the context of family and the people who know him most closely. And then there was Steve, the polished professional who built a successful agency and earned the trust of clients.

Each version carries something important, yet in public only one of them had remained fully visible.

The goal of the conversation wasn’t to dismantle that professional identity, because it has clearly served him well. Instead, it was about opening the door slightly wider and allowing the fuller picture to emerge.

When we began talking about legacy, family, and the deeper motivations behind his work, the conversation naturally moved beyond business and into something more personal: the identity behind the success.

After the show

By the end of the show, nothing about Steve’s professional success had changed. His agency was still strong, his reputation was still intact, and the work he has built continues to speak for itself.

What changed was the frame around it.

Instead of seeing only the agency owner, the conversation made space for the person who exists behind that role. The actor who once explored storytelling. The family member shaped by the people closest to him. The entrepreneur who is now thinking not only about success, but about the impact and legacy that success can create.

When someone allows more of their identity to be visible, something interesting happens. Their work doesn’t become less professional, it becomes more human.

And that’s where deeper connection begins.

Want a brand breakthrough like this?

You’ve just watched me help complete strangers realign their identity and step into the version of themselves they already knew was there.

Now it’s your turn.

The Personal Brand Audit is where I personally review your website, your social media, and your online presence privately and honestly. No cameras. No performance. No pressure.

I’ll show you where your brand is diluted, where you’re underselling yourself, and where the million-dollar version of you is already visible but not fully owned.

If this episode resonated, it’s probably because you know there’s more of you that isn’t being seen yet.

Are you ready?
