Media Founder Unlocking the Power of His Story – Kira Shishkin (Ep. 59)

What happens when someone building a media platform is holding back the story that explains why it matters?

Today on The Fairy BOSSmother Show, I met with Kira Shishkin, a Ukrainian-born founder building a media platform focused on sharing accurate, positive information. Kira is deeply committed to his mission, but the personal story that gives his work real weight is something he hasn’t fully brought forward… yet.

Can I help Kira step into his story in a way that strengthens his message and allows people to truly understand the impact behind his work?

Let’s meet Kira Shishkin.

If you want me to review your personal brand (deeper, in private, and without the cameras), you can book a Persona Brand Audit here.

Before the Fairy BOSSmother

Before we began the conversation, Kira was focused on the mission of his news media platform, informed.now. His attention was on the work, the platform, and the message he wanted to put out into the world. He spoke about the importance of accuracy, the need for positive information, and the role media plays in shaping how people think and feel. All of that was clear.

What was less visible was the personal experience that led him to care about these things so deeply. When someone builds something meaningful, there is usually a reason behind it. That reason is not always immediately shared, especially when it involves experiences that are difficult to explain or revisit.

In Kira’s case, that story had not yet been fully brought into his work.

During the show

As we spoke, the conversation moved beyond the surface of what he does and into why it matters to him. That is where the shift began.

Kira shared that he had experienced memory loss for a significant period of time, which changed the way he relates to information. When memory is uncertain, information is no longer something you casually consume. It becomes something you rely on, something you need to trust, and something that shapes how you understand the world around you.

That experience is not separate from his work but the reason his work exists. Yet until that moment, it had not been fully integrated into how he presents himself or his platform. The conversation became less about building a media company and more about recognizing that the power of his work lies in the story behind it.

When that connection became clear, the direction of Kira’s personal brand began to shift.

After the show

By the end of the conversation, Kira did not need to change his mission. His focus on sharing accurate, positive information remains the same. What changed was the understanding of what gives that mission weight.

His story is not something that sits outside of his work, but rather its his work credible, human, and deeply relevant.

When someone is willing to bring that level of truth into what they are building, the way people respond changes. It is no longer just about the content being shared. It becomes about the person behind it and the experience that shaped their perspective.

For Kira, the next step is not about doing more. It is about allowing more of his story to be seen so that the work he is already doing can resonate on a deeper level.

You’ve just watched me help complete strangers realign their identity and step into the version of themselves they already knew was there.

Now it’s your turn.

The Personal Brand Audit is where I personally review your website, your social media, and your online presence privately and honestly. No cameras. No performance. No pressure.

I’ll show you where your brand is diluted, where you’re underselling yourself, and where the million-dollar version of you is already visible but not fully owned.

If this episode resonated, it’s probably because you know there’s more of you that isn’t being seen yet.

Are you ready?
