Why hiding is costing this interior designer serious clients - Savannah Dodge (Ep. 26)
Today on the Fairy BOSSmother Show, I met with Savannah Dodge, an interior designer whose work is rooted in eco-conscious design and sustainable living.
From the outside, her business is all about eco-living and intentional spaces. But behind the brand, I didn’t see her. Not fully. Savannah showed up with quiet strength, but I could feel the fear underneath. She’s holding back. And I can tell she’s right on the edge of a real transformation.
Do you think I can pull it out of her?
Let’s meet Savannah Dodge.

Before the Fairy BOSSmother
Savannah Dodge is the founder of a brand-new interior design studio rooted in sustainability, minimalism, and eco-conscious living. On paper, everything sounds solid: the mission, the vision, the values. But when I looked at her brand? I couldn’t find Savannah in it at all.
What I saw was a muted version of her. Safe. Polished. Pleasant. But where was her personal style? Where was her?
This wasn’t just about visuals. This was about identity. Because if you’re going to sell high-touch, luxury design rooted in eco-consciousness, you can’t stay hidden behind neutral palettes and generic messaging. You have to own your style boldly.
When Savannah joined me on The Fairy BOSSmother Show, I could sense it immediately: she was still holding herself back.
During the show
During the show, it was a tug-of-war. Not between us, but between who Savannah is today… and the woman she’s on the verge of becoming.
She was open, thoughtful, and incredibly sincere. But every time I pushed her to take off the mask, to say what she really wants to be known for, there was a pause. A hesitation. A flicker of fear.
You know the moment right before a butterfly emerges from the cocoon? That’s what it felt like. She’s not quite ready yet, but she’s close.
I could see glimpses of the designer she really wants to be: grounded in sustainability, yes, but also artistic, bold, and emotionally connected to space and story. That designer isn’t just serving clients, she’s shaping environments that speak to identity, intention, and healing.
But right now, her brand isn’t saying that. And that gap is costing her serious clients.
After the show
This is the quiet part of transformation most people don’t see: the in-between.
Savannah isn’t fake and she’s not playing small on purpose. She’s simply still in process. And sometimes, the hardest thing to do is accept that you’re allowed to be seen, not just as a service provider, but as a creative force.
My hope is that Savannah walks away from this interview not just with clarity, but with permission to be herself.
Because the moment she stops hiding, the clients she’s been praying for will finally be able to find her.
