She’s got the glow, now it’s time the brand catches up - Liz Patel (Episode 19)
Meet Liz Patel. At 12 years old, Liz started making her own skincare. Now? Her products from A La Glow replace 12-step routines. But if the product’s that good, why haven’t you heard of it?
I’m Talyn Rahman-Figueroa, your personal brand expert and on today’s episode of the Fairy BOSSmother, I’m helping Liz stop blending in and finally take the spotlight she deserves.
Can I help Liz step into the role of brand ambassador for her own products and get her confidence up to show up more consistently for her mission?
Let’s meet Liz Patel.

Before the Fairy BOSSmother
Liz Patel began creating her own skincare at the age of 12. Today, her company, A La Glow, offers products that simplify the most complex beauty routines, products that can do the work of chemical peels, serums, masks, and moisturizers in one. But despite the results, Liz’s brand wasn’t taking off the way it should.
She had done some PR. She had an incredible product line. She even had the best proof of all: her own glowing skin as living testimony.
But her branding was watered down. Her messaging? Scattered. And like many small business owners, she was trying to say everything about her product, without focusing on what people actually needed to hear.
During the show
What I helped Liz uncover on The Fairy BOSSmother Show was this:
Her product isn’t the problem. Her visibility is.
I took a good, hard look at why her brand wasn’t gaining traction, and it came down to two things:
Overcomplication in her messaging,
Inconsistency in her visibility.
Liz was starting and stopping her content efforts. But she wasn’t showing up as the glowing, trustworthy face of her own brand. And in the skincare industry, that’s everything.
So I showed her how to simplify her brand story, anchor it to her personal glow, and treat content creation as a discipline, not an afterthought. Because if she keeps going with half-effort, she’ll keep getting half-results.
After the show
Liz walked away with a clear strategy to simplify her product focus, streamline her messaging, and finally take center stage in her own story.
She now sees her content not just as marketing, but as proof. Proof that she’s her best customer. Proof that A La Glow is more than skincare, it’s a transformation.
Liz doesn’t need more products. She needs more people to see her. And now she’s ready to shine.
